Donbass Arena is a stadium with natural grass field in Donetsk, Ukraine, which opened on August 29, 2009. The facility is located in downtown, in parks Comsomol Lenin. With a capacity of 50,000 spectators, FC Shakhtar Donetsk Stadium hosted the game and will host several matches at Euro 2012. It meets the requirements for the UEFA Elite Stadium 5-star rating.

Donbass Arena Development was launched in 2006. General contractor is a Turkish company Enka. The stadium was completed and opened in 2009.
